Gregory Electric is hiring experienced Linemen. A Lineman is skilled in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. This position works at various locations in/around Charleston and Beaufort SC.

Essential Functions:

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead work.
• Possesses a working knowledge of overhead construction standards and installation
• Troubleshooting skills
• CDL or ability to obtain
• Ability to maintain, check out, position, and safely operate bucket truck.
• Identify primary and secondary voltages, and understand grounding procedures.
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor outside and in inclement weather.
• Capable of safely setting poles, and use loadbuster, phasing sticks, mechanical jumpers and identify and use all HOT line tools.
• Perform transfers of energized conductors.
• Capable of working at heights (with climbing ability) and/or confined spaces.
• Capable of properly installing and removing PPE and cover up.
• Other related work as required to complete the job.
• Good communication skills, self- motivated, team and customer oriented.
