Gregory Electric is hiring experienced lighting repair technician. A lighting technician utilizes heavy equipment to assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of street lights. This position works at various locations in/around Charleston and Beaufort SC.

Essential Functions:

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of utility owned street lights.
• CDL or ability to obtain
• Capable of receiving and following directions
• Ability to setup work zone according to DOT standards
• Understands minimum approach distance, excavation and shoring
• Ability to maintain, check out, position, and safely operate bucket truck
• Basic understanding of tools and materials used in line work
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor outside and in inclement weather
• Capable of working at heights (with climbing ability) and/or confined spaces
• Other related work as required to complete the job
• Good communication skills, self- motivated, team and customer oriented.
