Gregory Electric is hiring experienced operator. An operator utilizes heavy equipment to assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. This position works at various locations in/around Beaufort, SC

Essential Functions:

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead work.
• CDL or ability to obtain
• Capable of receiving and following directions
• Ability to setup work zone according to DOT standards
• Understands minimum approach distance, excavation and shoring
• Safely operate Digger/Derrick and dig hole, load, set, and pull poles in HOT primary
• Ability to maintain, check out, position, and safely operate bucket truck.
• Basic understanding of tools and materials used in line work
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor outside and in inclement weather.
• Capable of working at heights (with climbing ability) and/or confined spaces.
• Other related work as required to complete the job.
• Good communication skills, self- motivated, team and customer oriented.
